Henley has a beautiful balance of culture, history and sporting activity. The town is rich in buildings of significant historical value, many of which date back many hundreds of years. People of note have always lived here, right up to the present day. Whilst the Thames should not be ignored, neither should the town, in all its splendid glory!

Henley is a world-renowned centre for rowing, and each summer hosts the Henley Royal Regatta. Near the banks of the Thames is the world famous River & Rowing Museum, and further along a fascinating lock. To walk alongside the Thames on a summer’s evening, to see people playing in the park, or messing about on the river, or simply promenading, is a delight to behold. The Thames at Henley is a wonderful place to be!

Walk 1 has 21 clues & walk 2 has 14 - both with detailed directions to follow. There are interesting stories about important people, places & events along the way; detailed instructions on how to find a clue if you're stuck; and a comprehensive map with the routes marked on.
